The Battle of Rorke's Drift led to the award of 11 Victoria Crosses, but the film is no simplistic piece of colonial propaganda. Instead it concentrates more on the bravery and mutual respect on both sides. The insert is probably the best US poster, as the print quality is much higher than the larger formats,while still containing the battle scene.
