Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between the owner of this website (referred to as the "Website" , "we", "us" or "our") and any party purchasing goods from this website or using this website (referred to as the "Customer", "you" or "your" hereinafter). Use of this Website constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Information on the Website

The items on this Website are vintage advertising material and were not intended to be preserved beyond their original term of use. Allowance must be made therefore for normal ageing, imperfections, and different degrees of wear. We make every reasonable effort to describe items honestly and accurately to the best of our knowledge, but we do not make any representations or warranties, whether express, implied in law or residual, as to the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information on the Website. We encourage you to contact us if you require further information prior to purchase, and we offer a returns policy should you not be satisfied with a purchase.

Images on the Website represent the actual items being sold. However, due to variations in photographic processing, browser rendering, screen settings etc, we make no warranty that the colour of items shown on the website is identical to the colour of the items themselves.

Due to the one-off nature of items on this Website, it is possible that an item may no longer be available before the Website has been updated to reflect it. The inclusion of an item on this Website does not automatically constitute an offer to sell.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to refuse to supply goods to any individual or company.

This Website and its contents, including images, are copyright, and must not be reproduced in part or whole without our prior written permission. Sale of any item on this Website does not imply the transfer of any licence or intellectual property rights.

We assume no responsibility for any errors or omissions that may occur on the website, and may correct any error or withdraw any item from sale without incurring liability. If you find an error or omission on this site, please let us know.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling, and do not include postage, packing and insurance costs.

A customer may submit an order using the online shopping cart, or by email. If we receive an order by email, we shall advise via return email the availability of the item(s), as well as postage, packing and insurance options. Payment is due once the Customer has agreed acceptance of the full purchase price including delivery costs. No contract exists between the Customer and us until we have received full and cleared funds and have dispatched the item(s) ordered. We shall confirm dispatch via email.

If payment is not received within 20 days of the Customer agreeing acceptance of the full purchase price, we reserve the right to offer the item(s) for sale to another party.

6. Applicable laws

These terms and conditions, policies and all contracts of sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England , and both the Website Owner and the Customer hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Cookies

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser when visiting a website. Almost all websites use them. They can have many purposes, such as allowing a website to function as intended (e.g. storing items in a shopping cart), or personalizing a visitor's experience, or providing statistics to the website owner.

2. EU e-Privacy Directive.

This website only uses cookies to complete purchases and ensure the shopping cart operates correctly. These cookies are essential to the service provided by the website and are therefore exempt from the EU e-Privacy Directive. If you do not wish to use cookies at all, you can disable them in your browser (see below), but this will prevent some functions from working properly. Alternatively of course you can simply choose to leave this website, though we'd prefer you to stay! We do not use cookies for marketing or tracking purposes.

3. Cookies used on this website:

Mal's E-commerce. This is the partner we use to provide the shopping cart and checkout process, including interfacing with PayPal. Without these cookies it is not possible to make online purchases on this site. They are essential to its operation and are therefore exempt from the EU Directive.

If you click on any of the social media buttons to share pages, or click on any external links, those external websites will have their own cookie policies, which are beyond our control. You should therefore satisfy yourself as to the relevant website's cookie/privacy policy before proceeding.

4. Further information about cookies.

Most web browsers allow control of cookies through the browser settings. To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and disable them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics for all websites visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Privacy Policy

1. Our Commitment To Privacy

We respect your privacy. To protect your privacy, we provide this policy to explain how your information is collected and used.

2. Information We Collect

The types of personal information we collect are -

Name
Address
Email address
Phone number

By entering this information you allow us to process and deliver your order, and contact you about it if necessary. Should you choose to make a credit/debit card payment and do not already have a PayPal account, it is essential for some of these details to be forwarded to PayPal to complete payment. Providing your phone number is optional, but has proven useful in the past, for example where emails are rejected for some reason.

3. Information We DO NOT Collect

Credit/Debit Card Information.

When transactions are submitted via the PayPal secure site, we DO NOT have access to card information. We only receive notification that a payment has been made, along with address details and any additional comments you wish to provide.

Please note that all PayPal transactions are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy.

4. The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order, e.g. address for delivery.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties. If you make a purchase, we may use your email address to contact you with details of special promotions or future items you may be interested in, but you may opt out of this at any time by sending us an email, e.g. an empty email with subject line "REMOVE". Your address will not be used for any other purpose.

5. How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

Your details will be kept secure. You have the right to request an electronic copy of all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain. You also have the right to ask us to delete any part of it. To do this please send us an email. In some circumstances this will not be possible due to legal requirements, for example we need to keep sales records for a minimum of six years to comply with HMRC accounting regulations, but in such cases we shall make the reason clear in our reply.

6. How To Contact Us

This policy has been updated in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Should you have other questions or concerns on this subject, please contact us.
